Cheap PFSense Router For Free

There are a few free ways to get your cheap PFSense router into your hands. While it is not a scam, getting one for free is actually the way to go if you are looking for one. This is how I came across my cheap router.

My first experience with the cheap PFSense router came through an e-mail from someone I had recently purchased a router from. When I checked my spam folder, the same person sent me a message, which stated: "Got your PFSense router on eBay. No guarantees. But is nice and cheap."

Well, that sounded like a great deal, I thought. It would just be a matter of using a USB drive and then plugging it into my computer. This got me thinking. If this was true, then I should be able to find a cheap PFSense router on eBay.

Then I saw a comment on another site that said they could get one for a one time only price of forty dollars through Korea. With all the sites I could find which provide free shipping to sellers in Korea, and with all the places where people were willing to pay even less for PFSense routers, I figured I might be able to get one for a little cheaper than what the deal from Korea would be. I thought I was good to go.

In order to get one through Korea for the same price as the deal from Korea, I had to make two sacrifices. I had to cut some of the features out of the package I was getting, so it was going to be less powerful. And I had to get a version which wasn't necessarily sold at the time which I am reviewing.

But I still wanted to try my hand at a computer purchase for the first time in a while. I decided to get the PFSense dual core, which is the same as the regular dual core model. I was hoping that there wouldn't be much difference between the two versions, but I couldn't have been more wrong.

I was not able to get it on eBay through PFEirexpress because I didn't put in any shipping information in my listing. I then tried eBay China. For the same amount of money, I was able to get a box, a bag, a manual, and a USB cable for my cheap PFSense router. The low price I was paying for the cheap PFSense router did not help the bottom line here. I was hoping to be able to get one and use it without having to purchase the whole package again.

I was not able to get a cheap PFSense through any other means. But I did get my cheap PFSense router for free. I was just not able to get it on the other sites I looked. Now I can spend more time focusing on other things on my computer.
